The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at this prestigious medical school on the Gulf Coast is currently recruiting candidates for our vibrant Maternal Fetal Medicine Division at the level of Assistant Professor. The physician will provide outpatient and inpatient consultative services for high-risk pregnancies. Candidate must have an interest in medical and student education. Special interests in genetics and opioid use during pregnancy are potential areas of growth. There are several new initiatives in our department including Telehealth Medicine.

Our antepartum and Labor and Delivery Units are located at our extraordinary free-standing Children’s and Women’s Hospital. The Level Ill NICU has a capacity of 130 beds. Our faculty practices and AIUM ultrasound units are located in the newly constructed, state of the art Patient Care Center. We have active divisions in General Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Reproductive Endocrinology and Gynecology Oncology services.

Qualified candidates must have an MO/DO degree, successfully completed a 4-year ACGME accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology resident program and completed an ABOG recognized Maternal Fetal Medicine program. Candidate must be BC/BE in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine.
