This established medical group seeks an Electrophysiology Cardiologist to be part of an exceptional opportunity within our well-established, highly regarded Cardiology Division. This position will support the increase in current patient volumes. Successful candidates must be Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Electrophysiology. The ideal candidate will be able to provide services in support of full spectrum cardiovascular testing including; treatments with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, cardiac surgery, TAVR, PVI ablations, ICD and CRT-D implantation, non-invasive testing services, cardiac rehabilitation, an arrhythmia with left atrial appendage occlusion (Watchman) and advanced cardiac imaging. The group has a well-established patent base as the premier Cardiac Center in the North Florida Region. There is an opportunity to participate in clinical trials and join a private research institute as well as become a partner in the practice. The Department of Pathology at this medical school is currently seeking a Pediatric Pathologist. Candidates must have and MD or DO degree or equivalent, BC/BE in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (or Anatomic Pathology), and must have completed a pediatric pathology fellowship training program. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.. The Department of Pathology serves a Hospital (Level I Trauma Center), a Children’s and Women’s Hospital (currently building a state of art Emergency Room which will open early 2024), a cancer center, a Patient Care Center, a free-standing ED, and multiple clinics throughout the greater coastal area The clinical laboratories of the health system perform over 3 million tests/year. The transfusion medicine section is accredited by the AABB and College of American Pathologists (CAP). This area is also responsible for providing transfusion consultation services for high-risk surgeries and ob-gyn operations. We perform approximately 40 pediatric autopsies/year and about 4000 pediatric surgical cases. Molecular/next generation sequencing, immunohistochemistry, FISH, and electron microscopy laboratories are part of the sophisticated menu oftests available. The Department has a combined residency training program in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with 12 residents and fellowship training programs.
