We are seeking an experienced full-time PM&R physician for our comprehensive inpatient Medical Rehabilitation Center.
This hospital is a non-profit, 956-bed, tertiary center with more than 6,000 employees, and has a distinct commitment to the people of southern West Virginia. As the largest teaching hospital in the state of West Virginia, this hospital prepares a variety of health care professionals to care for West Virginians. On any given day, The hospital hosts more than 500 students in programs leading to degrees or certifications in health professions and there are over 150 interns and residents and 100 medical students located on campus. The Outpatient Clinic covers a wide variety of impairments. Acute Care consultations are readily accessible and EMGs are available but not required. We are seeking a diagnostic radiologist interested in a full-time, on-site partnership track position. The ideal candidate has fellowship training, but this is not required.
We are a busy private practice group currently with 20 members. Our scope of practice includes all areas of general radiology, mammography, fluoroscopy, nonvascular interventional procedures (arthrography, LPs, basic drainages, myelograms). Complex interventional cases are managed by dedicated IR. The group structure is democratic with all on-site radiologists enjoying the same amount of time off.
- Typical vacation is 13-14 weeks
- Typical radiologist works 10-11 weekends per year with 1/3rd being night shift
- On-site shifts are 7a–3:30p or 8a-4:30p.
- 4:30p-10p, 4p-11p and midnight shift 10p-7a can be read remotely.
- Internal moonlighting is available for extra pay (both on-site and remote).

The Cancer Center is accredited by the Association of Community Cancer Centers and the American College of Surgeons and offers a full range of multi-specialty physician support as well as excellent radiation therapy, radiology, general pathology/hematopathology to complement our high quality of care.
The successful candidate must be BC/BE in hematology-oncology with the ability to obtain an active and unencumbered West Virginia Medical license, DEA, and staff privileges.
The experienced nursing and pharmacy staff is set up to assist you with quality of care as well as productivity. The medical center has the highest level of information technology giving you electronic access to your patient’s information with the ability to access it from home. A full range of multi-specialty physician support exists. This support includes, APPs, on-site Oncology PharmD and physician scribes. Patients are admitted to a 29-bed, inpatient oncology unit. There is a current new patient wait list of 23 days.
The Cancer Center has state-of-the-art infusion suites and pharmacological center that is set up to benefit the Oncologist.
